This occurs when setting search engine preferences to return 100 results and then performing simultaneous searches in at least 2 or more windows.The windows must be part of the same Internet Explorer process. To open a new window in the same Internet Explorer process select File : New : Window.
When the crash occurs the following window will be displayed:
